BELCOTEX® 110
BELCOTEX® 110 fibers were developed for the fabrication of high quality and durable nonwovens, technical papers and felts at which heat and fire protection, insulation and sealing functions are a priority.
- Mean fiber diameter 9µm
- Melting range > 1500°C
BELCOTEX® 225
BELCOTEX® 225 fibers were particularly developed for applications during which in-situ high mechanical forces occur, e.g. vibrations and/or pressures at high temperatures. BELCOTEX® 225 is therefore particularly appropriate for fiber reinforcement of composites, high temperature filtration, complex heat and fire protections and insulation.
- Mean fiber diameter 7.5µm
- Melting range > 1500°C
Short cut staple fiber (SC)
- Available fiber lengths from 3 to 26 mm
- High single fiber tensile strength
- Excellent fiber dispersion characteristics
- Developed among others for fabrication of technical papers and felts, plates, formed parts, mouldables, castables, fillers, MMC, FMC etc.
Long cut staple fiber (LC)
- Fiber lengths from 34 to 130 mm
- High single fiber tensile strength
- Excellent fiber dispersion characteristics
- Qualified for needle-punched aerodynamic or carded nonwovens
